The Chalfont and Amersham Wine Club meets every month on the first Tuesday at 8pm, with each evening costing £20. We try to finish by approximately 10.30pm. The evening consists of a presenter, usually an independent wine merchant or other knowledgeable wine lover, presenting about nine wines on a theme. There is always lots of conversation and laughter, plenty of debate and a wide range of opinions. Everyone enjoys learning about new discoveries and comparing the different wines. The main emphasis is on informality, relaxed conversation and FUN!
Half way through the evening cheese is provided but please bring your own tasting glasses – at least two to be able to compare wines side by side. The Club sells the recommended ISO tasting glasses at a very reasonable price should you not already have these.
Please note that there is no meeting in January due to the proximity to the Christmas Holidays. Additionally, please note that meetings are always held on the first Tuesday of the month.
