The Chalfont and Amersham Wine Club meets every month on the first Tuesday at 8pm, with each evening costing \u00a322 per person.\u00a0 We try to finish by approximately 10.30pm.\u00a0 The evening consists of a presenter, usually an independent wine merchant or other knowledgeable wine lover, presenting about nine wines on a theme.\u00a0 There is always lots of conversation and laughter, plenty of debate and a wide range of opinions.\u00a0 Everyone enjoys learning about new discoveries and comparing the different wines.\u00a0 The main emphasis is on informality, relaxed conversation and FUN!<\/p>\n
Half way through the evening cheese\u00a0is provided but please bring your own tasting glasses \u2013 at least two to be able to compare wines side by side.\u00a0 The Club sells the recommended ISO tasting glasses at a very reasonable price should you not already have these.<\/p>\n
Please note that there is usually no meeting in January due to the proximity to the Christmas Holidays.\u00a0 Additionally, please note that meetings are always held on the first Tuesday of the month.<\/p>\n
